2 days ago it was Faried, before that it was Love and today it's Rondo. Dolan really knows how to keep his fans from talking about losing. He tells Isola or Broussard to leak some bullshyt to take attention away from the L's. Seems like an Art of War tactic.

^^^ this. On top of that no way should the knicks make this trade until Rondo is back. How can't some people see this? by the time Rondo is ready Chandler will be back and the knicks might actually play well.....

Also on the low Melo was never the leader it has basically been Chandler but dude seems like the humble type not go out his way to show how much his attitude (IE will to win) is the motor of the team defensively and in some cases offensively.

If the knicks really want Love you say fukk it this season and just try to get into the playoffs to fukk over Orlando with that 2014 Pick and hold salary. Rondo is available in 2015 and getting him then means getting K love is a better possibilty. and Tyson, and Shump, could still be kept with bird rights

Rondo
Shump
Melo
Love
Tyson

is better than anything a major trade will have on the roster come 2 seasons.

As for shump the only reason he is on the outs is Dolan & Woodson made promises to JR about starting this season if he was willing to play the 6th man last season..... Him playing badly is going to make them reneg on those promises and he knows it.

ok, so basically this or Lebron are Knicks best chance at a title in a few years. I guess forget this season since its clear they aren't winning anyways:patrice:

Fans just talk about losing. Believe that nobody's ignoring the L's and actually hate the fact that they're back to thinking about 2 years from now.

If I still had pictures of Knicks fans around that time, you'd be dying laughing. No offense to Knicks fans, but I saw a desperation in them that I haven't seen in a fan base in a long time. I saw and heard everything from them except "I'll suck yo dikk LeBron"

There was a father and son at MSG. Cool people, there to see the draft. If you saw what they were wearing, they had these graffiti hand made LeBron and Bosh shirts. Even the sneakers were custom painted orange with LeBron 23, Bosh 4. Everyone remembers the kid with the authentic LeBron Knicks jersey, but the fans were ready, like they thought everything was gonna change in 2-3 weeks.

Then they got Amar'e and they thought it was a matter of time (they were a LeBron signing away from giving Fat Joe a parade). Then we all know what happened.

Watching Knick fans at the draft has to be worth the price of admission. I'll never forget those famous words from the homie Weebay. "The Knicks done fukked up their draft again"

That statement is perpetual.

Motherfukkers already thinking about 2015, and we haven't even gotten to Thanksgiving yet :snoop:

This is why NY sports fans have such a terrible rep. You motherfukkers are all prisoners of the moment. "Oh my god, we're on a 3 game losing streak, this team is ass, blow it up, etc, etc."

I might have to stay out of here for awhile, too much negativity & complaining.

its november and i think we'll be fine, but lets entertain ourselves with some hypotheticals since we play a game every 3 days and shyt. :beli:

sign melo, do i wanna pay 130 million? no. but the league is set up that if you wont pay it, someone else will. sell him on 2015. say we finish 6th and knocked out in the first round, and barring some unexpected great player to arrive this off-season, i would just try to get as many 2015 picks as possible. theyre not going to be contenders with this squad next season either, i would sell off tyson for a first rounder. i like him and hes a good player but at 14million, its too much for a team that wont be shyt anyway. i'd tell em we gotta take 2 steps back to take 5 steps forward. would that make him sign somewhere else? idk. add cheap talent, with high potential like that center jahlil okafor and still have some good cap room. i know we struck out on bron, but besides 2010 when has this team ever had cap space to sign guys? 96? remember us offering kobe that full mid level?

so add some young guys and then sign some bigger player/s to fill out roster. point is i dont think it would be years of shytty teams like the 2000's were. i think we'd bounce back quickly. now if melo leaves just blow the shyt up completely. is that gonna happen? fukk no. :russ:lets sit around a bonfire and conjure up scenarios brehs.:obama:

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
Seen this coming from a mile away...

Don't get why this team doesn't value 1st round draft picks considering they actually seem to do well in the draft on finding quality.

As far as the Rondo trade, the Knicks just don't have enough assets that fit what the Celtics are trying to do, although I could see the Celtics having interest in Amare's contract if they can unload Gerald Wallace, Courtney Lee, or Brandon Bass.

Brandon Bass is someone the Knicks should be looking to add.

The Homie I.V said Lebron was gonna sign though :sadcam:

Lets be real, Lebron was bolting Cleveland, even those scumbag Boston Fans were chanting MSG.

Until the day before of the decision nobody thought he was gonna end up in Miami, so excuse Knicks fans for thinking Bron was gonna sign here after gutting the team of all those contracts.
