Knicks going after Rondo, Love, sometimes I think the Knicks aren't going after those guys to pair up with Melo, but rather as a contingency plan for if Melo leaves. No one will bytch about Melo leaving if you're replacing him with Love and someone who's just like Rubio since you can't get Rubio

Melo's about to be 30 years old and his game hasnt changed one iota since his rookie year. Until he's in a situation where a franchise dictates to him how it's going to be and not vice versa- nothing will change.

Melo leaving would be the best thing that could happen here- just absurd how many picks they gave up in the process, when folks(ahem, me) knew the Knicks strategy could never win a title.

With Barg and Tyson coming off the books the knicks could still afford Love. Just Slot Love in as a Center or grab a warm body to play the five.

they could fit him in because they should be just under the cap limit in order to add another max contract... worse case wallace and lee will be on their last years and movable with Picks....

Anyhow once again not for this move. Rondo is still fukking injured.... The whole thing screams mcdyess trade but worst cause the knicks been down this road. He could come back extremely limited.

Rondo would fix everything with the Knicks. That team has always lacked a leader. Melo is a great player but a bad leader.

No average point guard can lead that team to a title. First option was Chris Paul. Now it's Rondo. Im not sure why Boston wont do this. A few "franchise" point guards (so they say) will be in next years draft. Plus they have Bradley and Crawford and that rookie Phil Pressy is decent.

Rondo Likes to push the ball, Melo is best when the pace is slow and he hold the ball and dictate.

Rondo didn't get along with none of the Big 3 (Garnett, Pierce and Allen) ... Him and Melo would be at each others throat after 10 games.
