I feel you on this BUT you're ignoring what caused this...like these problems aren't created in a decade...you have to go back 30-50 years (depending on region) and what we see today is a product of that


There's plenty of super lost black people but we can attribute a lot to the system of white supremacy. Find me an economically deprived area highly populated anywhere in the world that doesn't have violence/drugs

My opinion is Tariq should be focusing on a stop the violence movement more so than Moorish Ap.

The violence is caused by lack of employment.

Drug game employs these guys who have been forced out of the job market.

Solution would be to troubleshoot how to employ a group of men who are unskilled, either through skilling them up through trades, repealing laws that prevent the hiring of men who have served their time in prison, or who have low level offenses, incentivizing companies to hire these men, enforcing affirmative action, etc.

What is not a solution are dumb social programs that try and teach black men not to be violent, like as if black men are inherently more violent than any other human man and thus needs to be taught how to act.

You do know that Chicago's murder rate isn't nowhere even touching what it was a couple decades ago, right? As a matter of fact, this is also true for violent crime among blacks period....but let's act like because violence is still occurring among impoverished blacks that nothing is done, and also like it's an issue exclusive to black people period even though violence occurs wherever poverty is

Those people are a very small minority. The majority of people living in the inner city just want to go to school and work like everybody else.
