The way I see it hip hop has always been a mirror of black society and America as a whole. When I listen to the radio or watch tv there is way more vulgarity that is gotten away with than there used to be. Just think that In Living Color was controversial. Using profanity in music period was controversial. America has a huge opioid problem right now so it’s no surprise rappers and talking about getting high more than ever. During the crack era when hip hop was still considered a fad black people were getting high, killing each other, and getting locked up in record numbers. The numbers got even worse in the late 80s and early 90s when there was a huge wave of black positivity in music, tv, and moviesI've always felt it goes both ways. In the beginning I think the realities of poor Black communities were reflected in the music. It really was street reporting then, and it still is largely. However, as it's popularity has grown exponentially, so has it's influence which unfortunately includes glamorizing a lot of activities, outlooks, and behaviors that should not be promoted. Art imitating life and vice versa is just what it is.
Still, to be fair, when one looks at what gangsters were doing in the late 70's and early 80's, one can't blame that on Hip Hop. Nobody blamed the Ohio Players for the madness happening in South Central. Or Barry White for what was happening in Chicago.

bu bu bu it's religion that makes the world crazy. China is like 95% Atheist

China has been a multi-religion country since the ancient times. It is well known that Confucianism is an indigenous religion and is the soul of Chinese culture, which enjoyed popular support among people and even became the guiding ideology for feudalism society, but it did not develop into a national belief. It makes the culture more tolerant to others, thus, many other religions have been brought into the country in different dynasties, but none of them developed powerful enough in the history and they only provide diverse people more spiritual support.
According to a latest survey, 85% of Chinese people have religious beliefs or had some religious practices and only 15% of them are real atheists. The real atheists here refer to those who lack belief in the existence of deities and do not join in any religious activities. 185 million people believe in Buddhism and 33 million have faith in Christianity and believes in the existence of God. Only 12 million people are Taoists, although more than one hundred million have taken part in Taoism activities before. Thus, it is obvious that the Buddhism has the widest influence. The other major religions are Taoism, Confucianism, Islam and Christianity.
