I think this is stupid.
But I remember someone posting a video of some british "rappers" who were talking about having guns and dealing drugs and acting like they are running around dodging bullets in chitown. A part of me did think that unfortunately a lot of this has a negative influence on even other black people across the pond. Not naive in thinking drugs dealing and violence doesn't exist there but the imagery was very obviously taken from the most ignorant shyt that is exported from the US.
Not going to excuse c00nery and ignorance but I am on my @PhonZhi shyt a bit as it relates to hiphop. Imagine you're not an American and you've never met a black american person in your life. The only exposure you have to them is hiphop, the ignorant drug abusing and killing other black folks type, and violent portrayals in media and its not just for the sake of argument white people saying this, but you have black folks perpetuating it. What is the average ignorant non-american going to think about black Americans? Can you blame them if they take in that image as representative?
Sadly we don't control the media conglomerates who are spreading this poison and image but we do control how we respond to it and even further, if you choose to participate in it.
You are focusing on the wrong issues (the symptoms not the root) I don't fukk with black brits like that but they don't even have
a black middle class like we do ...
Our "image" was pristine during times when we sang about love and we were still getting lynched/beaten to a pulp
PhonZhi likes to hide behind these FOX alt right talking points but anytime you bring up the Motown/Chess Records era and
lynchings he goes ghost
