One of the very few SNL skits in like a long time. I chuckled a little here and there. :ehh:.

I heard Kanye performed that night but when I ran to Walgreens to buy lotion I missed it, decided I didn't want to watch the second one and went to bed.

Also I'm bumping The Life of Pablo right now. :wow:

Kanye killed it last night. He was even in a skit too.

Seriously what on earth can possibly be offensive about this song? Like at all? :jbhmm: Besides the imagery of the music video, I don't see how it's "pro-black".
Depends in the view.

I don't hear anything offensive in the song.

Arguments can be made for pro black statements.

The undertone of this track is very pro-black in the sense of she's proud of her roots. However, it would still be very subtle without music video so its crazy to see how many Cacs picked up on it and got offended.

The SNL skit was actually funny that's deserves praise within itself. White people are offended but the video and her song are harmless since it's nothing but symbolism not real power, especially with the juvenile lyrics of the song. At the end of the day White people own Beyonce and they were the ones that game her permission to preform that song in the Super Bowl, but offending the average White person might come back to bite Beyonce since they're the reason she's where she is today. They don't really need Beyonce to degrade Black women's image(she's done enough damage) when they have Rihanna who's even worst than Beyonce.

I don't think it's pro black, that word is thrown around too damn much.
