Being pro-black doesn't necessarily mean you're willing to risk your life for a cause. There are many many other situations where being pro black isn't life threatening. Not that you won't risk your life for your people, but to say only life-risking actions are pro-black are false

I say only two things. Just two. Being aware and making other people aware. That's it. No one has the money to fix the money problems in our community, because what we're owed by this country probably can't even be done. Black people are owed trillions of dollars and with each passing generation that number goes up.

The fact that the #1, pound for pound most well known artist in the country who has millions of young black women who absolutely worship her, has a song on the radio right now that is at the very least unapologetically, undoubtedly black, even if you disagree that it's "pro black", its BLACK, is a very Big deal.
Because truth is there is nothing else like that being made by anyone, nor is there anyone even close to putting out some shyt like that. She's 1 of the two black female pop stars, and she's the biggest.
Not even close. Millions of young black women are listening to that right now, and it'll do more good than harm in any situation you can imagine.

Very interesting post to me, because everytime i make a thread suggesting that the black community could benefit from more music with positive, uplifting and educational messages (instead of the destructive poison that dominates the airwaves) i get a strong backlash and have even been called a "cac" for saying it. Hell, some posters have even went so far as to say that music itself has ZERO affect on the human psyche. Good post.
It was funny, but Beyonce is far from being Pro Black. Not surprised the only people on my timeline that shared this were in her Bey-hive , the same ones who like anything Beyonce does .
