Capitalism was good at a time, but can't keep working when technology keeps doing away with the need for human labor. Less need for labor leads to less consumers. Plus, the younger generation doesn't demand the types of goods and services that their parents did, so demand will continue to fall regardless.
If I'm not getting paid for my passion, I'm still gonna do it, because it's my passion. shyt, I love extreme metal, and very, very few of those groups get paid a dime from record sales. They still make music, because it's their passion. You do concerts, make special limited addition shyt, sell merch. There's always a way to make money. You're not gonna make Lil Wayne money, but maybe musicians shouldn't be making the kinda money anyway.

I'd gladly pay $20 a month for high quality DRM-free music. I already pay that in uploaded.net fees alone. Same with TV. Movies, I'd pay a bit more for. shyt, I'd pay $100 a month for all of my DRM-free entertainment, if it was an option.
These corporations are too fukking stupid and greedy to do that anyway. They wanna make 90s money, when 90s money was simply an anomaly. This corporation shyt pisses me off

LOL at idiots saying artists shouldnt make alot of money off music. And that Television and movies should be free. LMFAO you guys know it cost millions to produce these things right? Or do you think that all this equipment and skill to produce quality product falls out of the sky.

9th Wonder produced some of the best music of the 2000s with nothing more than Fruity Loops, a turntable and some records. Albums cost so much to make because of high priced producers and engineers and other BS.

I just go to Google and type in "full software name.rar" or "full software name.zip" or just go to sites like these http://www.newdownload.net/ I don't give a damn if the entire entertainment industry collapses and everyone involved is out of work. If they try to make us pay for youtube then there will be riots in the streets. As long as that stays in tact as is I'm good and could care less how well obsolete technology sells.
Those things should be free or at least subscription based. Put some ads in that shyt like newspapers and tv shows or make them subscription based. Blogs make money, newspapers finally evolved and started making some money again. The entertainment industry is fukking stupid. Come on, evolve with the time...

EDIT: You know what, also look at steam on the PC front. They are the first gaming organization to make a profit in Russia. Steam single-handedly stopped people from pirating pc games (which was the most fukking rampant thing ever and almost ruined the industry). Just evolve. Stop using that outdated model. shyt is stupid
