I didn't like her attitude for most of the season but the heel turn isn't out of nowhere. She found out everyone she trusted the most were lying to her, keeping crazy secrets and keeping her in the dark. In the end she chose brutal honesty over the polite liars that surrounded her. IMO, good choice and it makes sense. Saves her from the scrap heap and now she'll be putting in work next season. :obama:

Was she created for this show or she character from the comics? I'm pretty sure I looked it up early during Season 1 (The week the pilot orignally aired) & was confused why Oliver called her speedy since that's supposed to be nickname for the Red Arrow.

She didn't talk to her mother, who was in prison, because of her part in the undertaking, then decides to roll with the dude whose idea it was in the first place :what:

You forget that she forgave her mother for that shyt only to still continuously be lied to. And more importantly, it's not like she rolled with Malcolm just because, she put TWO HOT ONES into that n*gga, remember??

Here's some scoop on The Flash from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 6/3/14.

Alex: The Flash trailer is all sorts of amazing. Can you tell me anything about the show yet? This geek needs deets!
We take it you're a fan of the comic and let us reassure you: There are two big Easter eggs to look out for. OK, fine, one involves a classic villain.

Here's some scoop on Arrow from Kristin Dos Santos' Spoiler Chat column, which was posted on 6/3/14.

Liam: Hit me up with some scoop on Arrow, would ya?
You got it! Prepare to see a different side of former (and current?) baddie Malcolm Merlyn when season three kicks off. "Malcolm's losing everybody around him in his life for whatever reason…he figured out the last reason he lost Tommy was because he became emotionally connected to somebody. Malcolm can control everybody physically or with money, what's really interesting now is Malcolm needs to learn how to control people emotionally so he doesn't lose anybody now," John Barrowman previewed for us. "That's what he he's doing with Thea now because she's at her emotional low. Malcolm needs to build his family back around him, whoever that may be. He needs Thea as much as she needs him."

The Flash: Barry and Felicity related scoop on the series premiere from TVLine's Michael Ausiello

felicity-barry.png

Here's some scoop on The Flash from this week's (Posted on 6/3/14) Ask Ausiello column.

Question: What is gonna be the status of Barry and Felicity’s relationship on The Flash and Arrow? –Rachelle
Ausiello: It is hinted in the Flash premiere that Barry’s trip to Starling City (and/or a certain someone he met there!) indeed made an impression on him. But we also see almost immediately that the CSI whiz shares a quite complicated “relationship” with Iris West, the police detective’s daughter he “grew up with” after his mother was murdered/his father arrested. Obviously, the question will be: When will those two ever be on the same page regarding what they feel beyond a “brother/sister” vibe?

ARROW: STEPHEN AMELL'S SEASON 3 TRAINING VIDEO

Salmon ladder, conquered!

7 JUN 2014 BY ERIC GOLDMAN

It's not easy being a superhero, as Arrow star Stephen Amell proves in a video he posted of his training regimen for Arrow: Season 3.

In the video, Amell shows us just one minute of him getting ready to take to the streets of Starling City again, and what we see is very impressive, including the famous Arrow salmon ladder move. And kudos to Amell for posting a video where he screws up one final jump - Don't worry, sir, most of us were already thinking, "Yeah, I couldn't do that..."

:whew: I love the fact that the cast of this show is all-in.

Man I never thought when I first started watching season 1 on a whim how much I'd grow to enjoy this show:blessed: shyt is straight Piff.

For season 3 ima need the homie Diggle to get some better story lines though. Getting his ass kicked for much of the second half of the season wasn't cool....

We gonna have to get some type of pay off with Ollie learning about his secret child. The fukkery Moira hid from both Thea and Ollie should remain a constant shadow throughout the shows run.

If the actress who plays Laurel is supposedly getting in shape she better be scarfing down SEVERAL sandwiches to make up for her emaciated, malnutritioned looking zombie profile she had all last season. Nothing worse than a Cac bytch who looks like she hurls after every meal:scusthov:

Arrow has a big enough presence within these boards that the official season 3 thread shouldn't be shared with Flash's season 1 thread, they should be split

MEET "THE FLASH'S" STAR LABS TEAM IN NEW FEATURETTE

As "The Flash" continues to gain momentum ahead of its Fall debut, The CW has released a featurette expanding on several of the lesser-known characters fans will come to know when the series debuts. As Tom Cavanagh -- physicist Harrison Wells -- introduces his S.T.A.R. Labs employees, Caitlin Snow (As Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco Ramon (As Carlos Valdes), and explains the relationship all three develop with Barry Allen (As Grant Gustin), helping him become the Flash after they save the new hero's life.

"The Flash" features the Barry Allen version of the character from DC Comics, who was created by Robert Kanigher, John Broome and Carmine Infantino. "Arrow" executive producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg are at the helm of the series, and co-wrote the pilot script with DC chief creative officer Geoff Johns. It also stars Jesse L. Martin, Rick Cosnett, Danielle Panabaker, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Tom Cavanagh, John Wesley Shipp, Michelle Harrison and Patrick Sabongui.

Behind You
Arrow Season 3 New Characters Being Cast:

‘DANIEL’ | Though Daniel could be a fake name to throw off spoilerholics, this 20something gent — a major recurring character for Season 3 — is a handsome, enigmatic and highly intelligent entrepreneur developing groundbreaking technology. (Picture a business magnate in Ryan Gosling’s body.) Though exuding charm and confidence in public, he privately harbors a tragic past that will drive him to become a tech-powered superhero. Watch for this formidable fella to be a love interest for Felicity and a rival of Oliver’s – both personally and professionally.

I think "Daniel" is just a name used for casting and this character is definitely going to end up being Ted Kord/Blue Beetle.

‘SETH’ | A well-educated criminal with grand ambitions and a knack for chemistry, this potentially recurring character gains power over his enemies by exposing them to a drug that drains their willpower. Oh, and he is very much a physical match for The Arrow.

I'm thinking Maybe Prometheus?

TOSHI | Majorly recurring in (at least) the Hong Kong flashbacks, Toshi will serve as Oliver’s teacher and handler, and eventually become a friend. A well-trained operative, skilled in weaponry, combat and intelligence gathering, he is also a devoted father and husband.

Might be Silver Monkey

AKIKO | Toshi’s wife is another of Oliver’s Hong Kong caretakers, and is herself highly skilled in martial arts.

Could be Lady Shiva or Katana

Arrow Season 3: Scoop on Oliver's New Rivals and (Spoiler)'s Love Interest

By Matt Webb Mitovich / June 14 2014, 6:08 AM PDT

arrow_season3_felicity_romance.jpg

The CW’s Arrow has in its sights for Season 3 at least two new pot-stirrers — one of whom will cozy up to a lady in Oliver Queen’s life.

TVLine has learned that casting is underway for four new characters, two of whom will figure into Oliver’s next stretch of flashbacks. Review the details below then hit the Comments with your theories on the new baddies (including who you would cast as you-know-who’s new beau).

‘SETH’ | A well-educated criminal with grand ambitions and a knack for chemistry, this potentially recurring character gains power over his enemies by exposing them to a drug that drains their willpower. Oh, and he is very much a physical match for The Arrow.

TOSHI | Majorly recurring in (at least) the Hong Kong flashbacks, Toshi (late 20s/early 30s) will serve as Oliver’s teacher and handler, and eventually become a friend. A well-trained operative, skilled in weaponry, combat and intelligence gathering, he is also a devoted father and husband.

AKIKO | Toshi’s wife is another of Oliver’s Hong Kong caretakers, and is herself highly skilled in martial arts.
