I wonder if JC could make KOTD his way to some version of the top. I think his style would work fine.. his battles would probably be bout long as hell due to the pit reactions.

Immortal Technique would bring a shyt load of people to battle rap. Moreso than Joe Budden or Cassidy. Immortal Technique is on that Tech N9ne, Hopsin shyt, like that conspiracy/occult shyt.. those types of artists sell out the small/mid-sized venues EASY.
And I'm sure you could tell me #'s that would have Immortal Technique looking miniscule compared to Budden or Cassidy, but I swear, his fanbase is more fanatical and it would honestly be a better look for rap. Plus those underground dudes like Immortal Technique always talk about how mainstream rappers aren't lyrical and shyt. Well let's see what he's about then

According to most KOTD fans, JC beat Caustic and edged J-Pro, but lost to 100 Bullets and Psychoses. So he hasn't been all that impressive over there. I know it's all politics but the people that are REALLY next in line for a title shot are Caustic, Rone & Head Ice. Rone is the best pick from a marketing standpoint.
It's not about his opponent, it's about him giving us three great rounds on a BIG STAGE. And I mean "big stage" literally. He just hasn't proven he can rock a midsize to big crowd for 3 rounds.

Correct me if I'm wrong but there's not really a ranking system per se to determine who gets a title shot. Otherwise Daylyt wouldn't have gotten one. At the end of the day it's just KOTD trying to sell tickets and PPV buys, again correct me if I'm wrong
JC would get that look before Head Ice I have to think. Illmaculate vs JC would be such a crazy bar fest. Plus it would be logical for KOTD to push JC as he appeals to the URL fans without being a URL guy or having any ties to Smack, Norbes, etc. JC is one of the few (ex) Smack guys that actually gives a shi1t about KOTD besides Chilla and maybe a couple others.
