I hear you. Illmaculate vs Rone is probably the next logical match for the chain. Beyond that I feel it could go in any direction.

Correct me if I'm wrong but there's not really a ranking system per se to determine who gets a title shot. Otherwise Daylyt wouldn't have gotten one. At the end of the day it's just KOTD trying to sell tickets and PPV buys, again correct me if I'm wrong

JC would get that look before Head Ice I have to think. Illmaculate vs JC would be such a crazy bar fest. Plus it would be logical for KOTD to push JC as he appeals to the URL fans without being a URL guy or having any ties to Smack, Norbes, etc. JC is one of the few (ex) Smack guys that actually gives a shi1t about KOTD besides Chilla and maybe a couple others.
caustic bigg k and rone should be the next 3 for the title imo

The KOTD crowd seems to love Ice and is pretty ambivalent about JC. And Ice is probably the only big name U.S. "street" battler that gives a good effort every time on KOTD. I don't think people realize how many times Ice has battled in KOTD. Did you know he has 7 KOTD battles? And he had another one booked vs. Carter Deems, but that was canceled.

At one point Chilla was cooking over there (which would have made him a good contender), but even he's giving KOTD lazy performances now.

Yeah I kind of scratched my head at that part.

Head Ice talks in code, but very little that he says nowadays is immaterial, you just might not get the references. He is talking about his opponent, how he relates to them, and the difference in their experiences. Daylyt has a lot of well written bars about random things. He does a lot of the "lyrical exercise" type of shyt which sounds good, but isn't substantive in the context of a rap battle at ALL. A double entendre that has nothing to do with the person you're battling is immaterial/irrelevant. That's not substantive.

Until he ran into someone like charron or pat.

I absolutely hate the whole idea that Charron would beat JC, but he would. Charron would beat JC at KOTD, Charron would beat JC at Summer Madness. JC might win in a small room. Anybody with stage presence, good projection & haymakers can beat JC. JC doesn't have that many room shakers, and that's what big crowds remember.

I really feel bad that it looks like I'm shytting on JC because he's far from wack. He has this dope presidential debate type of thing going when he raps, you just get the feeling that he knows what he's talking about when you hear him. There was a point in time where he had won something like 12 to 15 rounds in a row, before Young Kannon put blood in his mouth.

BUT.... one more thing.

K-Shine has successfully integrated pop-locking into his stage performance. JC hasn't even attempted to do such, even though EVERYONE knows he can do it.

You want him to start popping on stage:mjlol:? He's not much of a performer. His vocal projection and confidence is there but I always see him as Prodigy from Mobb Deep. He talks tough but when he's on that big stage with 50 people it just magnifies how much of a lil nikka he is. It's hard to take him seriously.
