I actually hate the clique joining but for Chilla i'll give him a pass. Do what u gotta do to get them URL looks.

I def want to see more YK and Chilla on URL then nikkas like Prep and Jakkboy.

I'm ok with it because it's not like I really wanted Chilla vs Roc or Brizz, only time the crew joining bothers me is if it prevents match ups I anticipated

I don't think anybody would go in on Big Kannon for this move. He's dope as fukk but needs better looks, linking up with Dot Mobb should do that for him, and it's not like there were any big battles for him against Dot Mobb members on the horizon.

I gotta say my dude, I feel for you. The majority of your reactions these past 2 or so years have been along these lines. Disappointment, boredom, and overall just no indication that you are entertained. I think you like the tension, the fights, and the street talk. I too like the tension and the street talk (when it's wrapped into dope bars or crazy delivery), but I truly believe battle rap had to move away from those things to maintain business. The tension was on full when dudes either 1. didn't like each other or 2. sold the fight as if they had some issues with each other.

Fortunately I am entertained by the truly talented bar dudes. I won't disagree that many of them don't battle their opponent, but I'm ok with the battles that are a pure showcase of who is better, connected by name flips and opponent relevant schemes.

I wanted to answer this post in here after the event.

I've completely accepted battle rap the way it is. My disappointment today was due to the URL's poor job of keeping the viewer entertained during the intermission. I feel that KOTD (and even UDubb) handles this much better. That's all it is to it. I try to keep my complaining to a minimum, as it's free entertainment, but when it comes to paying, there should be a certain quality.

I just prefer guys that direct their material towards their opponent, regardless if they are a "pen" guy or a "street style" guy. You have a guy like Chilla, that is a "pen" guy that attacks the guy in front of him. However, you can have a guy like Calicoe, who has a lot of spots were he doesn't even direct his material towards his opponent. I don't want you to think I'm singling out "pen" guys, although they tend to be guilty of this.
