Are we not gonna talk about how boring Rum Nitty, JC, and Ave were last night?
It sort of illustrates why the URL avoided putting these type of guys on a Nome/SM all these years and would recycle the vets.
Having said that, it's still better than a performance only guy like Mr. Wavy getting on stage with no bars. The guy was awful.
I personally think the URL is trying to fast track Qleen, because he can perform. If Qleen can provide 2-3 strong battles, I can see him on a big card. However, he will fukk it up.

None of these guys were bad. It's just their brand of battle rap work best in a certain room.
However, we saw Ave become more well rounded. I was impressed. Who knows, maybe a year from now he'll be even better.

So[insert top tier here] can get on SM/NOME and stink it up a crazy a dumb amount of times, but JC, RUM and Ave only gets a 1-2 opportunities.. and they weren't even bad. Like you said, I'd rather these guys be boring than nikkas like Calicoe getting up there and getting boo'd every year. Calicoe has been boo'd at every summer madness since sm2.. yall bugging its time for new faces.
Yeah, some of these guys got all the lyrics but look visibly nervous. Soon as the DVD man exposal came Ave's whole demeanor was that of a kid caught stealing candy lol
Cal hit a lick. Went up there and rapped at least 70 bars from his tape and got SM money.
