im 22 years old and i want to know what advice would u give to us young bloods (18-25) that's trying to save/make more money? good thread my brother. :salute:

If you're looking for easy money look to doing those online surveys that pay you (Search em up there are websites that are good for this.. you will know which sites are legit and which ones are scams)

It aint much but its still something (and all you have to do is dedicate like 10-15 minutes of your time to a survey) :manny:

Few mantras I follow (some of which have been said):

-Pay Yourself First (been doing this so long, it's robotic at this point)
-Live below your means (personally, I live well below my means. Fukk flossing. Too old for that shyt)
-More than doubled my income from my previous job in the last 2 years and still live like I'm at that previous job
-Prioritized my thinking as it revolved around a car. My car's 10 years old, runs well and I have no qualms with it. Typically, cars depreciate 18% as soon as it leaves the lot so that puts it's value into perspective for me.

I have more but that's all i can think of at the current time.

Im only 18 and its my dad out here giving me regular good money.. I came in here looking for gems

Will say this though.. I see a lot of people who spend money on fast food meals during a break from work (I noticed this during work experience in the summer) on some 'I need a quick lunch I didn't have breakfast shyt' all yall are getting finessed If you operate like this. You'll be surprised at how much money people end up blowing per month on this regular routine (and lets be real its some folks out here doing this at least 3 times a week).. I know it might not seem that much to some people but imagine not having to eat at a fast food joint, some people would save way more money if they stopped

:flabbynsick:

Better option is to make your own lunch at home so you can save money instead of spending it on useless junk food. I saved a lot of money going this route.

My bad, its an app that you download on your phone that sends your spare change to an investment account. I threw 20 bucks in there just to start. I forgot all about it but checked the other day and it was at like 88 bucks :leon:

So now im just going to put 100 bucks every two weeks in there for the fukk of it.

Does the app take a percentage? Can I withdraw from it?
