The salary a single person needs to live comfortably in 25 major U.S. cities

"Comfortable" is defined as the income needed to cover a 50/30/20 budget, which assumes 50% of your monthly income can pay for necessities like housing and utility costs, 30% can cover discretionary spending and 20% can be set aside for savings or investments

Those are highest cost of living places in the USA. NYC, LA, Honulu? :dead:
Part of the reason the cost of living is so high because you are competing with the entire world to buy and rent property in those spaces.
Chinese Officials, Oprah, Mark Zuckerberg etc aren't building mansions in middle america.
In the age of remote work. its seems silly to live there at all if you worried about your finances
