This is why black fathers instilling pride in their sons is so important. Very cringe read.

that's cool i guess. i hope he has less superficial things to appreciate. if this was a woman talking about how she is marrying a man because of 10 examples of financial support she would be called a gold digger lol

I didn't even think about that

:dead:

It was a list of all the material things she gave him

:deadrose:

No mention of love or any type of affection

:deadmanny:

Interesting

This is why the divorce rate is so high. People don't know what love and support in a relationship are.

They go into marriage expecting the best version of their partner throughout that marriage.

She was able to see the potential in him. Perhaps she saw how hard he worked and struggled. Regardless of how she saw it, it paid off.

I hope he honours her for the duration of their lives and that their marriage works out.

Now I see why broke nikkas be railing so much against gold diggers

They want it to be them. They competing with these hoes for their desired position :mjlol:

Exactly, No nikka with money is worried about gold diggers that much. They are easy to identify and you can use them by stringing a carrot, just dont let them catch it lol

Black women are only valued for their labor. A nikka listed out all the ways his mother figure built him up and nikkas confuse the list with him professing his love for her.

He's literally thanking her for her labor and resources the same way a man growing into adulthood would thank his parents for raising him. She raised him and that will forever be a stain on the relationship.

The only thing rare about this story is that it ends in a marriage, there are endless Black women who have taken on the task of building men who graduate to other women.

This is an african couple :pachaha:

Why y'all projecting dysfunctional american black male stereotypes on them? :pachaha:

Is it because y'all think black men ain't shyt and aren't worthy of somebody loving them when they are down? :jbhmm:

It's weird that people who claim to be pro black are so hard on a black man who was down on his luck.
But I guess things like this should only be reserved for black women. Black man be damned.

When it comes to the Black community, Black men are the number one beneficiaries of this kind of arrangement. Black women go as far as jeopardizing their section 8 by giving Black men a place to lay their head and have an opportunity to try to shake back. If it wasn't for Black women, there would be even more homeless Black men than there are now.

If anybody thinks Black men ain't shyt, it damn sure ain't all the Black women who say it our their mouths yet find themselves supporting Black men to varying degrees.

You nikkas are not men lol

What exactly is the difference between this nikka and any other nikka where it ends bad for a bytch who does all this? This same exact story has a terrible ending for the broad 99% of the time, and all you nikkas would say is "choose better :umad: "

That nikka gave literally no indication of anything he was doing or working on to make you claim he was on his grind. He literally just listed all the things she did for him like a hoe that needed rescuing. And even if he was grinding, that's your responsibility as a man to hustle and go get it for yourself. Not depend on your woman.

Dude was the epitome of an ain't shyt nikka. nikkas just applauding it because they want their own trick ass Black woman to come mommy them into manhood :gag:
I had a long ass reply but I’ll keep it short.

1. The quote you responded to was to a different scenario, not the one in the OP.

2. I said in my second post that I’m not dependent on anyone, especially a woman but that’s just me

3. Yes, men and women should choose better. It’s not hard to see when someone isn’t shyt. There’s the rare occasion that a man can blindside everyone but the red flags are there.

4. There are Male tricks and female tricks. When a male trick gets taken for everything, we blame him for being a simp nikka. When it happens to a woman, all of the sudden “she didn’t know better?” GTFOH.

Clearly she saw something in him that the rest of us didn’t. I think it was a bit tacky that his whole list included only what she’s done for him but again, we don’t know their relationship outside of that twitter thread. And now they’re getting married. So what’s the fuss?

I’ll say it again for men and women, if you invest in someone you know who ain’t shyt, it’s your fault for not properly vetting.

Just because you personally feel joyless, unsupported and unable to resolve those feelings with the presence of others doesn’t mean that those who do are experiencing a lack of pride in themselves.

Your assessment is very cringe worthy and reveals a thing or two about what mindstate you may be in at times...

Black men are given a raw deal. Society provides us with less. Other races and sexes can receive help without facing a negative stigma.

We're expected to make it on our own. If, by some chance, we make it to end, we're expected to prop up the community that would shyt on is if we fell through the many cracks on the rocky path we walk.
