Where I shouldn't be
Foo Fighters are even worse than GnR. Outside of his drumming, Dave Grohl is the epitome of an average ass musician.

Rocket Queen, It's So Easy or Paradise City are much better songs than the Pretender (none of them are all that though).

Call songs like this the same "generic stadium rock" brehs

Sounds pretty generic and basic to me but then again, I haven't heavily covered
the 80's and 90's of rock music just yet, it could also be because I've been
on an extended Jazz, Classical and Soul/Funk kick.
Maybe in the context of rock music and what proceeded these songs they're incredible
but as it stands now to me they aren't blowing my mind.

The harmony sounds very basic. The singing isn't incredible. The guitar soloing
is great but the choir/strings sound a little cheesy and they're obviously dated/synthetic
in the second song.

They're cool but I'm not understanding the "Greatest (Rock) band of all time" claims in this thread.

GNR was a great band but I have to laugh at people calling them the GOAT. Led Zeppelin is the GOAT rock band. They fathered GNR's style. Axl tries to sing like Robert Plant (the GOAT rock singer) but can't come close to his range and power. Slash is a huge Jimmy Page fan and copied a lot of Jimmy's playing style and his stage moves. And don't even try to compare Duff to John Paul Jones or Steve Adler to the GOAT rock drummer John Bonham. That would be straight up disrespectful. There are many other bands I would list ahead of GNR.

That said, I'm glad to see GNR coming back, I just wish it was the classic lineup that was returning, but I will try to see them before they break up again.

So many great GNR tunes have been posted but I don't think anyone has posted one of the greatest and most slept on tracks they ever made The Garden featuring Alice Cooper on guest vocals and Slash blacks out on the solo...

Celebrate racists brehs

To be fair Living in a white supremacist society. It's kind of hard to avoid racists. Like 90% of cacs born before 1990 have unconscious racist tendencies.

:whoa:

Our currency is like a hall of fame of slave owners.

Henry Ford supported the Nazis.

Our country was literally built by racists. Or more accurately, by their property.

If I were to avoid actively avoid racists, I wouldn't have made it through elementary school.

:manny:

It is what it is.
