GNR was a great band but I have to laugh at people calling them the GOAT. Led Zeppelin is the GOAT rock band. They fathered GNR's style. Axl tries to sing like Robert Plant (the GOAT rock singer) but can't come close to his range and power. Slash is a huge Jimmy Page fan and copied a lot of Jimmy's playing style and his stage moves. And don't even try to compare Duff to John Paul Jones or Steve Adler to the GOAT rock drummer John Bonham. That would be straight up disrespectful. There are many other bands I would list ahead of GNR.

That said, I'm glad to see GNR coming back, I just wish it was the classic lineup that was returning, but I will try to see them before they break up again.

So many great GNR tunes have been posted but I don't think anyone has posted one of the greatest and most slept on tracks they ever made The Garden featuring Alice Cooper on guest vocals and Slash blacks out on the solo...

Too bad led zepplin is considered one of he biggest rip off bands of all time.

Dave Grohl is the most pretentious fakkit walking the planet

The thing that stands out to me about Grohl is that when he was with Nirvana he acted like he was Mr. Punk Rock and that he was against all those "sellout" bands and blah blah blah, then he starts his own band and bascially becomes everything he acted like he was against with Nirvana.

Don't care for him much as a singer or guitarist but hes a damn good drummer (another John Bonham fan) his drumming on that TCV album that came out a few years ago was really good.

Exactly why I don't like him. Pretended to be holier than thou until he had a chance to make some money.

We gonna act like Axl didn't g check those Nirvana punks?

"We've had our share of problems, with so called "alternative" bands.
What is this word, I mean? I even find myself using it, "alternative". Like someone who leads an alternative lifestyle. All I know is that when Guns N' Roses started ain't no ******* radio stations wanted to play our **** either. Ain't no radio stations wanted to play Metallica. So I think we have the world's biggest "alternative" crowd here tonight. I think that the problem starts when you start thinking that you're different from everyone else on the ******* planet........ And so right now "alternative", only thing that means to me is someone like Kurt Cobain in Nirvana who basically is a ******** junkie with a junkie wife, and if the baby is born deformed I think they both oughtta go to prison. That's my feeling. And he's too good and too cool to bring his rock n' roll to you. Because the majority of you he doesn't or want to play to or even have you like his music. It seems to be a general feeling among a lot of "alternative" bands is they don't even want the majority of people liking them. They like being on the outside "

Dave Grohl trying to look tough calling out Axl moments after Axl called Kurt's wife a bytch and told Kurt to tell his wife to stop talking to him behind stage and Kurt did nothing:mjlol:

Every Nirvana single sounds the same; bounce back and forth between soft segments and contrasting louder sections with a self-loathing chorus. GN'R has diversity for days. Nirvana doesn't have a single song touching Coma's creativity or Locomotive's creativity. Kurt ain't seeing Axl's lyricism.

This first live performance of November Rain is insane.

I said it tastes good! Don't it? I said it tastes good! And you know it!

Axl spittin that ether. Especially the part about their baby being born deformed. Kurt had a rant where he called Axl a racist and a homophobe. I always thought the Axl/Kurt confrontation happened by the trailers before the show started, I think that was Kurt and Courtney's version of events, I think Kurt said he was holding his baby when it happened too Axl didn't give one single fukk, who knows how it really went down tho.

Can't compare GnR and Nirvana, they were two totally different bands and went about things totally different. GnR was a much bigger act as Nirvana preferred to be low key and play smaller clubs rather huge stadiums.

Yeah you're right. It was at the trailers before the show started. I thought Courtney called out to Axl and asked him to be the Godfather of their son and then Axl yelled to Kurt to tell his bytch wife to shut up, and then Kurt said he turned to his wife and mockingly told her to shut up. Then later that night the Nirvana performance happened ending with Grohl calling out to Axl. I don't know exactly who to believe on this story

Kurt spat on what he thought was Axl's piano and it ended up being Elton John's too:mjlol:

They were so ahead of their time man:wow:
