It was all so "eerie", and coming out of USMC boot camp a week later then seeing the "I ain't mad at cha" video. To me personally it always seems like the closing of a chapter in hip hop. As nothing ever seemed the same in hip hop ever since. For better and for worse. Then the haunting Makaveli cd came out in Nov. and it had such a weird vibe to it also. Even tho I got it as his best work.
