Yeah he wasn't a wordplay or big words rapper, it was more his cadence and delivery with decent messages.

That's the beauty of rap/hip hop....there are so many styles to choose from.......still happy I got experience the richness of it in the 90s......the content was diverse, styles were all over the map...:whew:.....a Nas or an Andre 3000 or a Snoop or even Master P mediocre shyt or a Black Thought even a Bone Thugs, etc....if they were all great at everything it would really be a wack genre

We both had dreams of being great
but his deferred
and blurred
and changed its shape

its fake
it wasn't my choice to make
to be great
im given it all it takes
tryna shake
the crates, and fakes and snakes
i gotta take
my place or fall from grace
before its late
the pace is quick & great
smilin face
to hide the trace of hate

You wanna hear an update on Pac's technical skills? Listen to Freddie Gibbs....not especially tricky or flashy but just constant pace, walking the beat down like a fukkin boxer. Most importantly he is a song writer which is really the crux of lyricism...he's one of the most prolific.

And unlike most artists he was actually ramping up on that aspect of his artistry. There is a clear separation between how Pac was coming lyrically one 7DT...one of the artists with one of the best discographies already at that point was getting BETTER.
