That is patently false, my ex wife got knocked up while we were going through divorce. We had to establish paternity and if the real father didn't step up, they would have put that child on me even though biologically, it wasn't mine but since we were married, it's mine.

What I get from this study is years and years ago.....back when female sexuality was guarded by the older generation, the fathers and the elderly women would heavily scrutinize any potential male suitor. Back in previous centuries, having a b*stard kid was the worst thing a woman could do. And women couldn't work. So they had to marry well. And to make sure the daughters married well, the fathers and the older females in the family would steer their daughters away from the Lotharios and the Casanovas (bad boys of their times). Because once they had sex with the daughters or got them pregnant....once word got out....those girls could never marry anyone of worth.

The parents wanted their daughters with good, stable providers because they would commit to them for a life time but, the daughters were truly attracted to the Lotharios and the Casanovas (bad boys). The fathers knew those types would never offer commitment. They had to shame women (slut shaming) into marrying the nice guy betas they weren't sexually attracted to for her own good.

That entire system is over with. Dead and gone. Buried in the ground. Women don't need men for resources anymore, so they can have whoever they want and make their own money. And they're free to have the Lotharios and Casanovas without any shame. Some of these chicks will get the bad boys to settle down with them. But a large amount end up ran through sexually and raising b*stard children. Before you had women using their youth to attract good mates who were providers. Now women spend their youth attracting high status mates, and once their youth has left them, often with children, they try to attract the provider types in a last ditch attempt. Backwards.

The great thing about this is men get to have sex with women before marriage. The bad thing is you end up with a scenario where women have b*stard kids and numerous sexual partners but, expect some guy to marry them.

The System still works. I feel like humans are meant to cohabitate with their spouse and child(ren). It's helped our species survival for thousands years. when there was no law in place to keep the parents around they still stuck together for their survival.

And we heard you the first time. The idea that it's a deal breaker is the baffling part to most people in this thread. You're taking it personally instead of respecting your husband for doing his due diligence. If women were up front about cheating then your stance wouldn't be a problem. The issue is everything you have said about how much disdain you have for paternity test has been spit by other women who WERE cheating. On the outside looking in you are no better than these women the only difference is they actually did dirt. Should their husbands feel apprehensive about asking their "loving loyal wife" to get a paternity test too? If you put your personal feelings aside for one minute you would know your stance on this is pretty laughable. Unfortunately a lot of women feel like this which is exactly reason why this issue is prevalent.
