I read this and agreed with you 100%. Then I checked Spotify and he still has 24 million monthly listeners. This terrible song actually has 350 million streams :wow:
He even has songs after this with over half a billion streams. One nearly a billion :wow:
I guess he went full pop? I don’t blame him either. He tried to keep it real and pay homage and hip hop didn’t give a single fukk about it. :dead:
well he has 22 million but okay...considering he has a single that went diamond is that impressive?

Flo Rida has 22
Tyga has 25
Wiz has 27
Future has 36
Lil Baby has 30

He is no longer a success considering how big he was at his peak

honestly...i don't even think he was ahead of his time. Thriftshop went DIAMOND breh. If this song was just better it probably sells 5-6 million too, people were ready for more Macklemore and Ryan Lewis but this shyt just bricked.

He makes a better single we're probably still hearing more about his music than the Bogey Boys clothing line.
Nah. That was a lucky meme song like Old Town Road. He was garbage. You get the Holy Trinity on a song and it's some fakkity garbage like this, you deserve to flop. He tried to fanagle some Hip-Hop cred and nobody fell for it.

The Macklemore/Iggy Azalea era was interesting and annoying to say the least

Macklemore wasn’t a bad rapper but his push was blatant and disgusting

Thriftshop was all he needed with that one. But he had a few more hits on the same album. He blew his load too early so to speak :dame:

He would have been out here making songs with lil Nas x and shyt. Getting promo deals with StockX or something

Instead we got jack Harlow :unimpressed:

I agree completely that he’s fallen off tremendously. I was under the impression that he hadn’t released anything since the song with the pioneers. That he had basically faded into complete obscurity. I was shocked to see that he had songs after that one that were still putting up streaming numbers.
