It just felt awkward. I mean most his promos do but this one was just weird as fukk because he was using his 'outside-the-ring' interview voice and demeanor. It was nothing like his in-ring personality. I realize the WWE likes to shyt all over kayfabe now but he was still on RAW. Just because he's injured doesn't mean his in-character interviews should change. He's not Daniel Bryan where the person & the wrestler have the same personality.

I honestly don't know why people are making such a big deal out of that interview :yeshrug: There was nothing particularly wrong with it or forced about it besides that it was so short. But its obvious Reigns is under intense scrutiny seeing as how he's now the WWE's new "golden boy". I say just ease up and let him be, some people need to stop over-analyzing and putting him under a microscope and whatnot. Dude has only been wrestling and performing for 4 years, he's not gonna be Flair-level overnight.

Believe me, when it comes to Roman I've got patience like no other :noah: It just caught me off guard how he wasn't in Roman Reigns the wrestler mode and more like Roman Reigns giving-Rosenberg-an-interview mode. I didn't care too much about what he was saying tbh I was just happy to see his face.

Triple H is right. That character is what got him over in the first place, let him show that lil playboy swag subtly like he did in The Shield
He was terrible in the Shield too. Their typical segment went Ambrose money promo, solid Rollins promo, Reigns says one or two sentences and isnt believable at all.

Might as well just push Mason Ryan

push trash workers and complain when they perform like trash brehs.

You have some of the worst observations on wrestling, I swear to god.

Reigns is not a trash worker. He's a perfectly serviceable big man - but he's green as the rolling hills of Tennessee. He just needs time, and he needs to be allowed to shape more of his own character.

yea people forget it took austin almost 10 years before he became stone cold, the rock took a few years before he found his lane, and they are the best.. Most wresstlers dont get to their prime until close to 30, why does everyone wwe included think this dude is gonna have it so early in his career?

He's not ready for the Wrestlemania main event. This is part of the reason Cena is still in the spot he is :snoop:

Why would you assume that a guy with no discernible charisma on the mic is really capable of creating a good in-ring persona all on his own?
Maybe the guy is just a block of wood.
