Reigns is not a trash worker. He's a perfectly serviceable big man - but he's green as the rolling hills of Tennessee. He just needs time, and he needs to be allowed to shape more of his own character.

I think you want the face of your company to be better than "serviceable." And he's not even really a big man. He's bulky but he's like 6'3". Rock and Triple H were never pushed as "big men." As for being so green...

yea people forget it took austin almost 10 years before he became stone cold, the rock took a few years before he found his lane, and they are the best.. Most wresstlers dont get to their prime until close to 30, why does everyone wwe included think this dude is gonna have it so early in his career?

I wish they would let these guys just BE and find their own way. Help them tweak their characters instead of trying to completely mold them into what they want them to be whether it fits or not.

Vince didn't watch the interview before it aired. A control freak like cokeboy letting a promo like that go without his knowledge is amazing to me when you consider that Reigns is their next big project (if it was someone like Barrett, it wouldn't shock me). Times have changed indeed

No one is saying all superstars should've have completely creative control. I think there's a difference between choosing which direction your career goes and being given the freedom to cultivate a persona. They give you guidelines, which you take that and adjust to how you see best (within reason) or you bring something to the table and you work with creative to create a good character. The little things can make a big difference.
