Kobe is a better shooter and scorer and had the better career but I still think wade is a better overall player bias aside. I always say wade the 3rd best sg of all time cause I know what it is

I agree wit all that, however, I argue that regardless of how poorly Lebron played(and he did play poorly I'm not refuting that) Game 2 and 4 were still there for "The Closer"(everybody told me that whole year Dwayne Wade was the closer for the Miami Heat) to close the games.

Comparing each player at their peak, it's Wade.

Comparing careers it's Kobe because he was healthy until the very end of his career and his prime lasted longer.

Wade's prime was too short, plus he was injury prone. He has limited range on his j too. Kobe has the longevity, better range and wasnt injury prone.

both got to play with Shaq and Gary Payton and an Aging bigman (malone/mourning). One got the breaks beat off him by the pistons. The other beat the Pistons.

So all things being equal Wade was more successful

If you put young Wade on the Lakers from '99 to 2010 (assuming no major injuries), does he win at least 5 rings like Kobe....does he win more or less?

If you put Kobe on that '06 Heat squad, do they still beat Dallas? Would they beat Dallas in 2011 or San Antonio after that?

As a Mavs fan that remembers seeing my team get torched by both, I'd say that Wade was more annoying to watch but that Kobe was a little bit better. With D-Wade, if he made a play against us, I'd be like "damn get in front of that dude!" With Kobe it was more like "wow, that's crazy." Like Wade seemed more stoppable, even though he wasn't. Kobe would routinely do shyt where you're like .
