Word? I was born in 84. I guess so.

Alzheimer's coming early.:merchant:

Bought both albums when they dropped. Still have hard copies of both.

I could have swore that this was common knowledge for any rap fan back then. It was jay z with the dynasty and Memphis with the understanding in late 2000, then beans with his second lp in 2001, then jayz again. Only reason why I remember this distinctly is because they were getting airplay all day on some highly suspicious payola shyt

The memory is shyt sometimes. I do remember in now, in hindsight. Some of the Young Guru Blueprint story fukked me up. I was listening to Young Guru a while back and he was talking about Just Blaze hearing what Kanye was doing for Blueprint and went "So that's the vibe we're on?" and started doing those type of beats. But The Reason already had those types of beats on it. So hearing that didn't help and made me think they were flip flopped. Because on Dynasty Just wasn't really doing the soul samples, besides Soon You'll Understand. So remembering that just further pushed the wrong narrative in my head.

Basically I'm just forgetful as fukk.

See Beans and Freeway re-work the " Get Down"track off of The Reason. On Dj Green Lantern's The Chosen 1 Mixtape.
