I heard a German car can either be really good or really bad. What was your experience with a German car that was around this price range if you had one or know someone that has ?

If not german, What yall recommend personally?

Cc? Car?

You think payments and a newer car would be better?

You can def scoop a decent Volkswagen for that price, though I'd stay away from any cc under 10k. I know, they're pretty. But a well maintained Passat could get you right :myman:

Cc was a 4 door coupe made by vw. Beautiful but at that price, it wouldn't be reliable. I paid 5k for my wrx so no, I advise against a note. TBH, I would spend no more than 5k on a jap car and stack to invest in real estate. I know I sound like a broken record on this board but I really mean it.

German shyt trash, all badge buying, especially in that price range. Buy Japanese with low miles. Go with Toyota/Lexus. Plenty for under 8,000 with less than 100 miles. Surplus of parts that you can learn to repair yourself or source to local shops for cheap. Only compromise is it's likely 15+ years old.

German cars are amazing.

My Vovlo still runs after I totaled it listening to March Madness doing 95 on George Bush during a Hurricane :ahh:

You can get an 11' or maybe 12' Bimma for that 8,000. It's gonna be approaching 100k, though.

If my funds were that constrained like that, I would just cop a nice Accord or an Optima /w lower mileage & all the features.

Actually seeing alot of the newer Sonata's (2015+) going for 8500ish. Those are nice.
