Young Black people are becoming less religious. Sure, there are plenty of Black people on social media who post Bible quotes, scriptures, and etc but most of those people are only culturally Christian at this point.

Black people too obsess with church and need to direct that energy to something that will serve them and their progeny.

The type of religiosity that blacks embraced is counterintuitive to their progress and enlightenment. If that means turning away from church so be it.

If Churches offered more in terms of community (the few that are really good at tend to be struggling in some ways) like support for one another they'd be decent.

If you cant find a stable church young bruh, start your own! Mean that literally, and figuratively.. congregations with fellow believers = 'church', really.
Join some young Christian meetup groups, find a youth ministry,many are specifically geared toward prison and street, & homeless outreach, and salvation.. Sometimes it operates dually as a political wing. Dont limit yourself to one person, or place.

Black Christtianity needs to clean up it's perception of pastors milking the congregation. Most young black people are agnostic at worst and wouldn't mind popping in for a week or two. But I feel ppl draw the line with the blatant money grabs going on in some churches.
