This dude has gone to University of Kentucky, started his PhD at Indiana University, went back to UK, then the University of Rochester, Ohio State and now teaches at Syracuse.

Like I said, how many millions did he give?

I think one of our biggest problem is we always looking to the next man to give his money to somebody "black" for something.

Black folks have damn near trillion dollar spending power in this country. If focused, there wouldn't be a need for anyone to give us anything.

We need discipline and a common sense. Muffukkas don't give a shyt about the community and utilize the spending power to make other communities rich every day all day. Nike, Apple, McDonalds etc, etc, etc,

We shouldn't need anyone to give or a weak azz need to focus on anyone else.

If I work hard, please get the fukkk out my pocket. U here buying all type of bs and not taking care of yo kids but wanna focus on how someone else spends they $. Treadmill mindstate.

I'm too busy taking care of mine to worry about how Dr. Dre spends his cash. May just be me, but yeah, I'm honestly too busy to take my time to worry about how he's spending.

USC has roughly 18,000 undergraduates. The 40,000 figure you stated includes the post graduate students at USC. I dont know why you're citing that number when Dre is starting an undergraduate program.

Um because you were talking about it being a 'white' school and that only 700 black people attend the school, when that isn't true. Now you want to change it up?

That's great about Dre's program but why you trying to side step the fact that your figures were wrong and you fudged them on purpose? You weren't talking about only 700 black people could get into his program right now, you were trying to paint USC as some white-only club when it reality non-white people make up 60% of the school these days.

Again, its his money. I dont need a whole education on Dre's life story and how USC was his favorite college growing up. Its his money. He earned it. He can do whatever. Black people....we're just hilarious. We're fukking sad. We're a sad ass people. We wonder why we're so behind the other races in every department but every time we get some fukking money and the chance to better our own, we invest in white institutions.

Sure you do need to understand why a guy who was born and raised in LA would choose the most visible college in LA to donate too, it aint fukking rocket science. You guys keep playing that 'hes c00ning' card tho :pachaha:

Its hilarious that you can't see the logic or the bigger picture. That or your need to whine about something to make yourself feel active is clouding your judgement. Just the thought process behind putting an entertainment industry related program that is going to have workshops and lectures from people in the industry away from LA is comical.

the bottom line is that dre dropped 35 mil on a program that will mostly be utilized by the others instead of the brothers.

if yall don't understand this, then that's on you.

and lol @ people acting like theres a bunch of racial harmony out there. California has like the worst race relations in the country.

at the end of the day, its his money. he can do what he wants but if you get caught out there c00ning, youre gonna get called out on it.

I'm agreeing with you. Dude has a bunch of years of education and teaching experience but hasn't done that at a HBCU.

Dude had two stints at UK and talks about how racist the state and school was and how he tried to fight it, but apparently didn't feel it was necessary to go to an HBCU and fight for better schooling there.

He'll right letters shytting on black people for not giving millions to an HBCU, but will do so from the house he has in Syracuse where he works at the university.

:heh: at cats getting angry about this :umad:

But in all seriousness if your not from LA, maybe you don't understand how integrated USC is within the community. They have a multitude of programs aimed at improving the education of minority children within the community. Every week they host field trips for local elementary schools showing them around the school, the majority Hispanic and black, and selling them the idea of going to school. That can of stuff can really impact a young child. Of course not all are going to go to SC, that's not the focus. A couple years ago I met two young black dudes volunteering through a program with USC, who had been involved with SC's youth programs, that were both going to HCBU's, both planning on returning to SC for grad/professional school.

They also provide a safe area for many local kids to come in and play/practice. There's outdoor courts that anyone is open to use, that is patrolled by security. A couple days a week they have an indoor court that is opened for the public. They also let many local programs utilize the Track stadium for practice. :pacspit: at this fakkit for trying to throw shade at Dre.

Anyone who implies that giving money to a USC = Just helping white people/wanting to be white, is part of the damn problem.

I didn't know black people couldn't go to USC. Let me call my family members that went through there so they can return their degrees and get refunds :sadcam:

yup. but according to this board, hbcus are all just a bunch of community colleges.

and yea, its his money. if he wants to c00n it up, its his prerogative. but when you get caught in the act, youre gonna get called out for it.

his isn't crabs in a bucket or dividing black people.

its a case of TONS of money being handed over from black hands to white hands......and why?

Son that' school is in HIS community...theres PLENTY of black people who graduate from there...it's not a "white" school...muhfukkas can't even donate money without being shytted on....

Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't the fact that many blacks moved from the south to California... was in part of race relations?

have you even been to California? all these mixed people out here, and we have the worst race relations?:heh:

LOL @ Southern California having the worst race relations in the country. Everything is mixed/fusion out here from the people to the food to the influences in everyday life to the music.

Yet again another stupid post from Wacky D. Go back to your homeboy runny run alias.
