Man this post reminds so much of the Ben Simmons vs Brandon Ingram debate pre-draft where someone will pinpoint all of Ben's weakness and point out all the strength of the other player to make it sound like they're better.

The Coli does not do nuance..context........or even fukking common sense breh

You know why they fell in love with Mitchell over Simmons....because Mitchell is more aesthetically pleasing to their eye

Stats/Production only matter when it favors their guy

I mean...the nikka can't make a shot outside of 8feet. That's a huge handicap in today's nba and because of that its starting to negate some of his all round game

Hopefully the Sixers come up with a good strategy come playoff time because it might get ugly for him

If Utah makes the playoffs, even considering all the injuries to Gobert, I find it very hard to believe Mitchell wouldn't get it, considering he has been their best player this year.
Gobert is the Jazz best player, y'all look at scoring too much. Only reason the Jazz are in the playoff picture is because Gobert returned, they were damn near a tanking squad not too long ago.

I'm all for a Grant Hill/Jason Kidd in '94 situation with Simmons and Mitchell. They've both been nice, two rookies showing flashes of Magic and D-Wade. This rookie class is unbelievable.

Guess you missed the games where teams play Hack-a-Simmons or how the're just starting to sag off and play his passing lanes. He'll face plenty of that come playoff time. Let's see how many triple doubles he can rack up when he has good teams in front of him that are going to exploit him

You sag off him, he'll just use his speed and size and blow by you. You can always tell who's actually watched Simmons play when people suggest this strategy, his athleticism and passing ability nullify it time and time again. Nope, in his most ineffective games teams stifled him by getting in his grill. But only a select few defenders in the league can do it.

Ur like the 3rd Simmons hater I've seen on here banking Him struggling the playoffs. A few weeks ago the haters were banking on him getting figured out after the all star break now it's the post season :mjlol:

Fake rookie :russ:

While Mitchell has him on points, Ben leads in every other offensive category. And Simmons is the more dynamic defender.

I'd really love to know what Simmons does to make some of y'all so mad. Is it the fact that he's a litebrite?

He got crowned as the next guy by media & Bron. It’s likely that.

Gobert is the best & most important player on the Jazz, what Mitchell has done is impressive but they were under .500 without Rudy and are 28-15 when Gobert plays.

If ROY is dependent upon who scores the most ...it will go to Mitchell ... if they look at any other category besides that it’s pretty obvious that Ben should win the award
