Its gotten pretty bad when the examples people are posting of black female artists all have straight hair and mohawks and shyt.
I remember meeting Brandy back when she had the braids with the baby hair
then I saw her on a magazine like a year back and her shyt all permed and dyed. 
Everytime I'm in line at a store I'll look around to see how many black women I can count with natural hair. Usually its none. Sometimes 1
but only if there are like 10 there.
Very troubling times.
