NBA media and some of the fans created ringggggzzz culture and this is the result. Look at SAS dumbass and what he said about Russ the other day. 
The league will be better when fans and the media stop placing unfair standards on players. Not everyone will win a ring.

Why is reform needed? There's nothing wrong with it. It happens every year. Only difference this year is the names are bigger than usual and there happened to be several of them. Folks are just complaining to complain.

shyt even the names aren't big. None of the people who got bought out were going to make a bad team good. They were only going to make a good team a little better and be another name on a bad team. The fact is, folks are mad that they chose to go to good teams. If any of these players went to a team like Houston or Orlando, no one cares.

So just waste your prime and later years on a poorly run team huh
And at maybe year 12 when said player is washed he can go and get traded for picks and parts

Oh winning one not enough you got to win at least 3 to be great

If we're keeping it honest, buyout players typically never really move the needle like that. If they did, then they never would have been bought out in the first place. The bigger problem I have is that you had Detroit sit Drummond out for a month and half waiting to a trade that never materialized and only him end up being bought out anyways.
