After watching the YT vid about Christelyn Karazin's site being take down I did a little Google search and realized that she was not the only black woman blogger who was targeted. I find it really interesting that the sites/blogs of random black women who by society standards have very little power in our society have had attempts to silence their voices. I don't recall any similar attacks on Soto Mayor or Tariq, etc.

Why are some of these guys so threatened by one lone black woman's voice on a blog?

....however, the love and attention that I HAVE and DO receive from white, Hispanic and yes even Asian guys more than makes up for it.

I will be honest and say that one of the reasons the insults that are constantly hurled at black women by (some) black men truly do not affect me. I think that it is very sad that many black women settle for the verbal abuse that is drilled into us by members of our own community from the time that we even begin to crawl. And a lot of black women believe the LIE that no one else wants us. No one else could ever love us. No one else could ever understand us. We, as black women, believe it so deeply that we spew it at each other if one of us dares to love an "other". Black women can often go even harder than black men at a black woman who dates/marries out (trust me, I know).

We, black women, need to stop thinking with a group mentality and do what benefits us individually.

No one can support and will support a black woman as much as a black man.

Numerically, it should be great.

HOWEVER, there are TONS of ain't sh*t BM in ATL who are comfortable trappin or being unemployed, living off of their women, and being Madden kings. And some of those dudes ain't got the decency to not have baby mama drama. So, despite the susbtantial number of BM in the ATL, lots of them really ain't sh*t. Nonetheless, there are still some very suitable, decent BM in that area. Maybe not the flashiest, richest, smoothest cats but the decent/good/great men are there.

My question is, why don't BW avoid those type of BM who ain't sh*t? Why do they entertain them?
