Above the fray.
Hundreds of podcasts. They have to come up with content every week.
Generally that means booking a guest who has generated some type of internet/social media buzz.

Some of the shows are hosted by ex-cons and promote street shyt. Audience gravitated to that type of content. Hustlers and con artists are part of that world. It is what it is.

Taking advice from podcasts and applying it to realm life situations can be a recipe for disaster in many cases, especially when a lot of podcasts are hosted by people that are not professionals or have full insight on certain things.

just another example of how our attention spans are getting shorter

3 of the biggest offenders....

Especially that EYL podcast. I listened one day and was like :russ: are these filling guys for real? Yo we laugh about plants in the music industry all the time but YouTube probably has more plant scammers than a little bit.
It’s not just the black podcasters either. The white guys will give you a little bit of game and then sprinkle in politics and a bit of good ole fear mongering in their messages.

All of it is highly offensive.

Yep. Not just financial advice. Relationship advice, advice about education, etc.

A lot of it is propagated here as well

like wildfire

I seen people become crypto, forex, stock and options gurus with no demonstrable track record of success. Like they cant even show you a verifiable 6 month record showing their trade transactions to see if they made a profit, what their risk profile was, how often did they trade, why they traded when they did, WHY they made that particular trade at that time....etc etc

People who rely on podcasts for knowledge deserve to get scammed.

Common sense should tell you to be on guard when your reason for tuning is the person's personality. It isn't to say they're incapable of kicking knowledge, but your core understanding should be rooted in things you have researched independently.

Can y’all give specific examples for EYL? Most of their content is pretty good from what I remember.
