No we aren't, it was just a trend in music at that time period. People actually like dance songs and having fun outside the internet

I used to live in the south.

and don't confuse me for some internet ninja.

shoot, southern rappers themselves were disowning it, in not so many words.

Dance songs have always been a large part of hiphop

Anyone that has a problem with Snap music takes their opinions too seriously

theres good dance music & theres bad dance music. just like theres a good & a bad with everything else.

to expect people to excuse wack chit on the grounds of it being dance music, is just as bad as expecting someone to excuse wack lyrical rappers simply because they can rhyme words on paper.

there were indeed some quality snap songs. but the overwhelming majority of the sub-genre was trash. hence, the reason why it came & went so quickly and nobody made a career out of it.

I go in and out, and it's been weak since 1999, but 2003, 2005, 2008, and 2015-16 were good.

Cam'rons swag was at dangerously high levels around this time :wow:

chit was unreal.

most-swagged out video ever.

too bad they were blackballing him into oblivion, then the industry turned around and ran with the swag chit.
