theres good dance music & theres bad dance music. just like theres a good & a bad with everything else.
to expect people to excuse wack chit on the grounds of it being dance music, is just as bad as expecting someone to excuse wack lyrical rappers simply because they can rhyme words on paper.
there were indeed some quality snap songs. but the overwhelming majority of the sub-genre was trash. hence, the reason why it came & went so quickly and nobody made a career out of it.
