Paige and Charlotte have no chemistry. Charlotte/Sasha in NXT was good, even their promos. Sasha's not a vet on the mic by any means, but when she's not regurgitating corny memes she can hold her own. Charlotte would flow better off her than she does off Paige who just drags everything she says.

Now I see. This is the textbook example of booking yourselves in a corner. The original plan was to make Roman look strong enough to beat Lesnar at WM, with Cesaro as the fall. But when they did the poll, they found Cesaro was far more over than Roman. So then we got the imperfect deflection.

The ID, booked on the fly, was meant to have the Divas as the main event, to get the taste out of your mouth. The original booking was likely Roman v Owens at SS to just have the classic face v heel face off. BUT. They needed a way out. They used Paige and Charlotte to put a weird EPIC betrayal saga (which Paige admitted in the promo was sophomoric) where Charlotte is deeply betrayed by Paige's using ways to fake caring about Charlotte's REAL dead brother (he's definitely dead as Flair buried him with his first HoF ring). They thought it would detract people from the horrible booking decision to not have Reigns and Cesaro at SS instead and maybe one of them turn.

What they fail to realize is that they clearly botched the "Reality Era". In the reality era, the cartoonish booking wouldn't fly...AT ALL. Even as I'm a huge fan of Game of Thrones, and have seen EVERYTHING, I wasn't prepared for the desperation shown with the Flair storyline.

We'll probably remember this with Katie Vick and McMahon incest storylines and ideas as the bridge a little too far. No one would give two fukks about this if it was TNA. But the E has played it far too safe and cute for far too long.

They've kinda low key buried those chants.

They made them about shytting on Naomi...had their opponents out there screaming it....basically made it about breaking up Team Bad as opposed to a call for a wrestler people actually wanted to see. Disgusting.

Add this to the fact that they simply don't put Sasha on TV that much....

Some still seem to think they are just "saving her for later"...I don't buy it. Sure she'll eventually get a title run, but the idea that they have some big "plan" for her is bogus.
