Yep! Huge downside of them.
The issue is importing, tax etc. from what I have read.
I have one, but a UK/EU model and good for the amount of tech. But I was looking at the Sorento, the 7 seater, and its starting cost is just gettting higher and higher so the top of the line version that you need to get for all of the logical additions is £57k, which is BMW/Mercedes/Audi saloon prices.
I have a Kia Telluride SX. Haven't had any issues aside from standard maintenance and a few recalls. Other than that, no issues and I commute an hr+ to/from work.
Perhaps no person here will answer the question..
All I know is that I have received compliments, especially on the wolf grey color. Next, I see a lot of Kias on the road of all models & makes, so Kia must be doing something right!
I have seem/read consumer reports on Kia Telluride and it has been mostly positive reviews.
I will just conclude that there are ppl who will judge Kia based on the stigma they gained when they first came out. *shrugs*
