$1300/month car payment on a Kia.

What's wrong with Kia?

I have one, but a UK/EU model and good for the amount of tech. But I was looking at the Sorento, the 7 seater, and its starting cost is just gettting higher and higher so the top of the line version that you need to get for all of the logical additions is £57k, which is BMW/Mercedes/Audi saloon prices.

I have a Kia Telluride SX. Haven't had any issues aside from standard maintenance and a few recalls. Other than that, no issues and I commute an hr+ to/from work.

Perhaps no person here will answer the question..

All I know is that I have received compliments, especially on the wolf grey color. Next, I see a lot of Kias on the road of all models & makes, so Kia must be doing something right!

I have seem/read consumer reports on Kia Telluride and it has been mostly positive reviews.

I will just conclude that there are ppl who will judge Kia based on the stigma they gained when they first came out. *shrugs*

Well, the same could be said for every other car brand who sell SUVs...

Rivian SUVs can get up to 100K. Most of the big electric SUVs are up there in price and can easily cost 100K.

Point is..

Cars/Trucks, SUVs are all expensive and over priced. Pre Owned vehicles are over priced.

Kias got their weight up and some ppl just don't want to admit it. Their brand isn't like it was when they first came out. The hate they get make zero sense!

Maybe the ppl you know hate Kias, but I don't know anyone that hates them. I actually received compliments w/ mine and know ppl who said that they bought one or know someone who bought one.

I can agree that most cars are overpriced. But, I don't agree that Kias are bad cars. They are comparable with most brands.

I agree. I have a 5 BR house and my mortgage is $1472 all in.

my car is a 2015, and I also have my brother's old car which is a 2014. both drive good, so I have no reason to even consider a new car honestly.
