this isn't even a debate Geno makes mistakes but I can live with that rather than the checkdown king.EJ frustrates the hell out of me his accuracy is beyond terrible over the middle. Those high ass passes gonna put 1 of our WR's in the hospital shyt Sammy already got bad ribs:sadcam:
shyt reminds me dead on like jb losman... geno looks sharp for the most part.

Orton won't play unless EJ is hurt or shyts the bad real bad in a game, I did not watch the game, I was at work, but Bills fans are not happy with EJ, that I know

Its realky sad to see... we have a good suad right now and to see it go down the drain strickly cuz our qb is stinking it up..

Its almost night and day... geno looks like a nfl qb.... ej looks like he can be a solid college qb.

I don't see either one of these guys winning many games in this league. :yeshrug:

Geno is a bytch ass nikka. If he gets flustered he starts pouting and pointing at his linemen. That's why the Bills didn't fukk with him despite obviously being desperate for a QB.

I'm not even trying to defend EJ because I'm an FSU fan as well so I've seen all this before but I'm just saying if Geno was here yall nikkas would be singing the same song, different chorus.

fukk I forgot about that bum:scust:speaking of former Bill scrub QB's anybody saw Fitzpatrick today?Brehs I don't think any franchise has had worse QB's then us:mjcry:.Back to EJ when he missed Sammy wide open across the middle with nobody within 10 yds of him I was just :snoop::beli:they're giving him basic throws and he can't consistently make em

Geno may be a hoe but he has looked solid... I know we dudnt pick him cuz of his character I believe and I can live with that... we just shoukdnt have drafted ej.. not that high.

Im sure ej is a great leader and smart man, u cant teach that... i want him to do good but I feel he would be best to sit back and learn from the sideline. . Bring him in when hes ready

I think thats when I switched the channel for a minute.. Derrick carr is already looking better... over throwing balls become tips and usually become int.. I say give orton a shot, I legit havent seen him play since he was I. Denver but hes played good before.. we have crazy weapons. .. also idk if my eyes were decieving me but ej looked kinda fast on a run, he looked really slow last year.

I feel you. In fact, days before the draft I had a feeling we would take EJ but I was thinking 2nd or 3rd round. :heh:

He's got some mechanical issues that if fixed I think could help his accuracy. But that just further drives home the point he was drafted too high. He's still pretty raw. I don't think he needs to sit because the reps will help him. But a real NFL coach would help him too.

All in all, I don't think EJ will ever break out. At the end of the day he just isn't accurate enough. And he knows it that's why he plays it safe. EJ reminds me of an old lady at a stop sign who waits until there's NO cars in sight to go. If a receiver isn't WIDE open, he's not throwing it. Problem is, you rarely see receivers that open in the NFL. He's a game manager but with a little bit of creativity (see Scott Chandler play in 1st half). He needs a good defense, strong running game and some RAC to win but at least he won't throw the game away for you.

If Geno was here he'd be throwing 3 picks a game trying to force it into triple coverage and that would be the complaint.

Step #1 is getting a real coach because with so much parity in the league, that's something that can separate you. Marrone was 7-6 at Syracuse, why the fukk would they expect playoffs outta him in the NFL? :heh:

Thats one of the things ive thiught about.. should him playing now benifit him?.. u knkw throwing him out there and learn but I dont think that applies to all qbs... someone like russel wilson and cam newton can get by but with geno I feel it can cost him his career.. u already know how they do black qbs, if he fycks up early on him getting another shot is slim... for some reason I kinda do see him improving, I remember brees sucked for like his first three years and got it together but idk if his accuracy was that bad.

EJ can hit a wide open, stationary receiver. But that doesn't translate very well to football. :mjlol:

He's gotta learn to throw where the receiver is going not where he is. That anticipation is what he lacks but it can be learned. He needs to get those reps though to do that. With the new CBA limiting practices, it's almost impossible for backups to get reps. EJ is mentally tough though. Plus his safe play limits big mistakes and turnovers. I can't see him losing confidence.

We'll see. Running game was ass today and EJ's not gonna win throwing 40 passes a game. Not right now.

Here's the thing about Geno his last six games....I haven't seen him make one of those obvious :snoop: throws. Even against the a Packers, the INT was a result of Brian Winters shytty blocking, not a bad decision. Those sections have dropped and his play has elevated. I don't think EJ has the fortitude to make big throws after his first read

Breh Geno threw 21 INT's last year to only 12 TD's. He threw 1 more TD than EJ in over 100 more attempts. And for all his "throwing down the field" he averaged only half a yard more per pass attempt.

EJ is a much smarter QB. He plays conservatively, which can make fans impatient, but he doesn't make the big mistake. 21 picks is way too many but luckily for Geno, he gets bailed out by his defense a lot.

Come on Geno had a 4 game stretch when he was 29 of 74, including 8 for 23 with 3 picks against Buffalo (EJ was 20-28, 2 TDs no picks that game).

While he doesn't look that bad every week, he's put up some horrific games. Today everyone would agree EJ had a bad game but he's never looked as bad as Geno has looked at times. And Geno has had multiple games like that.

Last four games of the season he was the second ranked qb behind Peyton. Tear down my actually point. Point is, he's shown growth while EJ hasn't.

Being timid doesn't make you smarter.

His last 4 games look mediocre as hell by the numbers. Where are you getting that bogus stat from?

88.6
68.6
91.7
83.9

That's 2nd best in the league? :wtf:

And EJ actually does look better than last year. His release looks much cleaner and mechanics are one of his biggest flaws.

EJ's career rating is 80+ compared to 68 for Geno. 90+ this year to Geno's 80. But nah, no improvement from EJ. :heh:

You the one that brought up QB rating.
