The Bills released the best QB on the roster to sign Jordan Palmer. :snoop:

Thad >>> EJ

No way, absolutely inaccurate.

I have now come full circle on EJ, just in time to start the season.

When we drafted him, and for the first month of last year, I was excited.

By the end of the year, and through the first half of this past weeks preseason game against Tampa, I was ready to cut him.

But now, seeing him come out and play so free in that second half, Im ready to get back on the bandwagon. Say what you want about the kid, but this past weekend, that first pick wasn't his fault, the Spiller fumble wasn't his fault, and by showing some resiliency in the second half, it shows he can be a fighter (unlike Fitz, Losman, Edwards, et al). It might not mean much, but when you combine that with what the kid did against Carolina last season, it's something the Bills haven't had in 20 years:

a chance to win ballgames in the fourth quarter, as opposed to losing them.

You watch a Pats game, and Brady isn't perfect for 4 quarters, just when he needs to be. If EJ can do that, we might be alright...

Thad played badly in preseason and in training camp, dude regressed badly. Palmer apparently helped Bortles with pre-draft workouts, guess they are hoping he helps EJ out with his mechanics and footwork

:mjlol: Carson is mediocre and the Bills are hoping his baby brother can "help" EJ.

Thad won games last year. In all honesty he should have came in #1 this year although obviously that wasn't gonna be the case with a recent 1st round pick on the roster. Either way, we're gonna suck, but at least with Thad it's less frustrating as a fan. :heh:

If EJ can just be Tom Brady we'll be alright? :dead:

This is why I love Bills fans. Optimistic no matter what. :myman:

Trust me, EJ been doing the same shyt since college. He's never gonna change.

He looked good in the 2nd half because the Bucs pulled their starters. And the Bucs suck. So he looked good against a garbage team's 2nd unit after sucking it up EVERY POSSESSION of the preseason before that and I'm supposed to feel good? :mjlol:

I wish him all the best because he's a black QB and he's from FSU. For these 2 reasons I was gonna root for him regardless of which team drafted him. But I've been watching this dude heavily since college and I have absolutely no faith in him. :yeshrug:

Is EJ the first of his kind?:ohhh:

Black man who flipped "he speaks so well" into a starting QB position in the NFL :ohhh:

Looked like trash pretty much since he been in the league and no one really going at him yet? :ohhh:

Other than Wilson, EJ is the only other black QB not to be slammed by the media yet?:ohhh:

i dunno why they were so eager to get a qb now
thad knows the system at least who cares if he was horrible playing with 3rd stringers

id rather the bills waited and see if kellen moore, etc. would be on the wire.

bills are such a horrible organization, say what you want about thad lewis he won games last year
