I been looking in Raleigh and Charlotte, may make a move there, buy a home and rent it out to split life live when it's finally time to jettison the US.

That porch life and "Get off my lawn" living got you talking different.

My mom and brother live in Charlotte. That cost of living there blows my mind. Yes, you won't get paid as much, but you can buy a mansion for less then $400K.

I'm a modest dude, the houses I see down there for $150,000 are nicer than the ones in NY for $400,000 :francis:

Yeah, you are right. I guess I'm used to looking at higher price points in Seattle so when I was curious what type of house you can get in Charlotte for the same price point. I found a 2 bedroom condo for $48K that needed a little work. Monthly payments on that would be only $200-$300 a month. I might have to get into reality over there and have my mom manage the properties.

Mortgages down there are less than studios up here :to:

Raleigh or Charlotte is one of the fastest growing cities in the US, so if you're gonna jump do it now.

Youd would be a fookin idiot to not take the 150K :mjlol:

Spoken like an ignorant fool. You really need to make $300,000 or more to even begin to enjoy a comfortable lifestyle that could be had at a FRACTION of the price anywhere else. Which is fukking crazy :mjlol: Its a reason only young adults and teenagers dream of NYC. I'm aight on that shyt. Good lucking finding a house that isn't a complete shyt box for $400,000 that's anywhere within 25 miles of the city.

Imma post some pics later.

I gotta warn u tho. Culturally NC is :flabbynsick: I have been getting way more into old reggae and Ghanaian music and shyt cause theres no variety down here. Everyone is American, its real dry in that regard. I feel like u would hate that. Thats the one thing I legit miss about NYC.
