Listen... A man knows his son, and he probably knows that his son IS goofy to say the least, and is probably lucky that his son is going our with a woman. He likely lost all hope at grandchildren and is PRAYING that his son doesn't fukk this one up.

that’s game? Offer to pay for everything?

He should be honored to be in her presence? Wat if this is the schools cum dumpster?

He don’t even kno who his son dealing wit and he already kno she a better woman than he is a young man :mjlol:

Like father like son, that man is a goofy u don’t need no game from him lmao

It’s solid advice if you want to be a family man and all that. I mean, at least youngin got something. Doesn’t mean it’s the best advice but I literally had to “figure it out” as I went along. Probably could of avoided mad ish if someone said “do this” and I learned what works and what don’t.

I have been married 26 years. Most of what was pointed out was fine, but let me point out where I feel you have gone off the rails

7. No, most successful marriages do not have the man calling his wife the Boss. Being respectful to her is true, but having deference to her like she is better than you is not true. You and your wife work together, each taking the lead depending on what each have a mastery in, will lead to a long successful relationship. Feeding an ego only leads to eventually one or the other becoming resentful or seeking something better elsewhere.

8. The boy is 17 years old. You do not teach your son to be a doormat, you teach him to have self-respect. With that self-respect, he will also have respect for others. Giving your son the impression that he should just be happy she said yes is teaching your son to have a scarcity mindset when it comes to women. His listening advice is good, but he should have made sure his son listens with discernment not just to please her ego.

Good lasting relationships require more than shallow platitudes and simping on the part of the man. A man also has to be able to pick correctly, because there are women who will take advantage. A man also has to have self-respect, so that he can in turn correctly determine which ladies are deserving of respect. If the son is taught how to treat women well and also how to actually tell which women are to be treated well, then he can eventually have a long lasting relationship.

That story was very one-sided in its advice, and that makes me think it was a creative writing project by a woman. I seriously doubt it was even made by a good mother, because a good mother would give similar advice as a good father to her son. Though there are men who are doormats, so it could have been that 17 year old's actual father, if the story is real.
You not the only married one, but congrats on 26 my brother, real talk.

If you revisit what I said about the “Boss” statement, I was saying that that term isn’t literal. Every dude I know calls his wife the “boss” of the house, or “I just listen to her” - but it’s not literal, it’s somewhat jokingly. As, yes, I listen to her and she be right about a lot, but I’m not literally in my home or out in public getting bossed around like a subordinate, or being told to what to buy and when to clean up or no lame shyt like that - but I’ve also never seen this have to be explained.

What part of what I said did you get doormat out of?

That’s why I went so hard. It’s like dudes here (not saying you) go so hard online and be lame, worshipping YouTubers, posting weirdo behavior and dapping ugly white women pics, but the dudes yall wanna be like in real life or the real “tough” or got it together men offline def do not talk or act like what ppl here portray.

It’s like you can be a 6figure 6 cert 6 foot brother that every one respects and wants to follow while still being all of those things to your lady.

Where the nuance is being lost is, if you finding your lady with 6 others on Collins Ave on South Beach at KOD and she talking crazy and trying to get you to rent a Lambo, maybe it’s your mistake you got played lmao

White boy lingo and fatherlessness have really broken some people's brains. That text is pretty in line with what you'd expect from a dad. Especially one who is at least 40+ years old. And no, calling your son goofy isn't some weird thing. It's a fukking joke. Holding the door open for a woman, listening to her, and paying for her meal are traditional male acts. Just because you are cheap or spend too much time reading white incel shyt on reddit doesn't change the fact that these are primary tenants of what being a man used to be before a fatherless generation started re-writing "masculinity." Your grandfather opened doors and bought flowers. Hell, a lot of grandfathers built a fukking house for their woman. Your father paid for dates. And both of them would look on current young men in disgust. Crying about women online, asking women if they want to chill at your wack apartment for a first date, not paying for dinner, not having a car to pick her up in, not being able to impress women with physical or academic (or financial) achievements...this is loser behavior to the generations of men who came before us and built this country.

Calling your Son goofy within this context is breaking down his self esteem and putting him in the mind-state that its a miracle some girl would be interested in him. Thats not only terrible advice thats TERRIBLE parenting

"I've got a table at x restaurant at y time, would you like to come?" You are the ride...whether she gets on or not, you're going somewhere in life. Many if not most women like someone who plans shyt. They might not even like you like that, but will still come to do something if it's cool...at which point you can win her over. That's how this has gone for hundreds of years. Dudes asking a woman out multiple times until she says yes. Go ask your granddad how many times he asked your grandma out. Now me personally I wouldn't ask someone out multiple times, but I'm def gonna plan a date and see if she wants to come or not. If she says no, you can cancel the reservations or ask somebody else.
Courting a women was the easiest way back then
Now men will call other men simp for taking a women out etc

The word simp been abused since it became mainstream

This is most likely fake, but WTF are y'all talking about here??

Have y'all ever met a woman in real life? I mean, this is probably a clout chasing post, but y'all responses are like some weird ass incels CACs or c00ns or something :scust:

1. 7:30pm is kinda early lol
2. Public places so he don't be a baby daddy while hes still living in his Daddy's home
3. Be a gentleman and be polite (not like these weirdos on the manosphere internet that wasn't around when we were kids) Ohh such bad advice
4. Open doors (oh my God a man opening a door for a girl/woman he likes :sadbron:)
5. Offer to pay for everything (oh no, a boy/man taking a girl on a date and paying!!??? :sadbron:)
6. Listen to her (oh no I can't talk about my favorite sports team and Kodak Black, I have to actually learn about her and hear if she got a good head on her shoulders or if she's an airhead to see if I....Like her as a person???)
7. She's the boss (oh no, every successful relationship the man says the wife is the boss, which is not a FUKKING REAL TERM, it's just how you show her respect and she picks what we eat (for the most part) helps with major things, looks out for me, has my back more than some internet mano guys with podcasts etc, but if stuff REALLY goes down, I'm obviously in control
8. You should be honored (that's HIS son and they obviously have a playful, cool relationship, and he probably would know saw that his son still skidding in his undies and practicing TikTok's in the mirror, so he's joking with his immature but close son
9. Be chivalrous, courteous, kind while being protective and strong (Racists on this site don't want this from a black person huh? That's the only way I can see someone being mad at this advice)

I mean, again, this is moreso long-term advice/a meme made up for discussion, but the fact yall are mad at the advice and think this will set someone up for a bad future is insanely insane.

Real life, or DM me if you don't want to tell the truth - have yall ever been out with a girl that you actually liked and thought was beautiful and who liked you as well, or are you having trouble with women, so watching men curse the Miami Thots out on podcast makes you feel better?
