I'm from the Bay and I disagree that the Bay is the highest crime area of the country.


Everywhere is grimey. Every big city in America has hoods and every hood is the same sh#t. I live in Maryland now and damn near the whole city of Baltimore is bombed the f#ck out and mainey as sh#t. Inner beltway PG County and SE/NE DC also is hella grimey and dangerous. Philly is also hella grimey and its surrounded by Willmington, DE, Camden, NJ and Chester, PA. All terrible cities. Most people outside the Bay think San Francisco is a weak safe city because of the gay rep. I'm from San Francisco and that sh#t gets me hella mad sometimes. But in reality, San Francisco, as a whole, ain't nowhere near as grimey as Detroit or Baltimore.


Don't get it fukked up. Sunnydale, Hunter's Point etc. in Frisco is just as bad as the worst part of any big city in America. Lakeview, Fillmoe, PH were just as bad as anywhere in America prior to gentrification as well. But lets be real. Sunnydale and Hunter's Point are easy as hell to avoid. There are only like 1,000 people in SD. Hunter's Point is only 5% of SF's population. Hella people in SF don't even know that places like Sunnydale even exist. I'm from Lakeview and hella white people from the damn Sunset didn't even know where or what Lakeview was. Hoods in Frisco are tucked away and tourists and rich white people who live in the damn City never even see those places. Sh!t you could be living in the hood in Frisco and not even know it because one block here is rich and quiet as f#ck but two blocks over is the warzone in the projects.


Frisco is only like 5% black and niccas do the most damage in the streets of Frisco. Most of them Asian mobs in Frisco ain't killing nothing and they operate more like the mafia. The Latino population in Frisco is also much lower compared to the Latino population in California as a whole. White people are the largest racial group in SF and white folks in SF are rich as f#ck.


Also, EPA ain't the murder cap no more and hasn't been since 92'.


Oakland does deserve its reputation as a crime capital. But real baydestrians know that all of Oakland is not a warzone. If anything, Oakland's rep for crime is exaggerated to keep tourist dollars flowing into San Francisco because tourism is the lifeline of SF's economy. The Hills are rich and there are hella upper middle class people in the Town. Jason Kidd didn't grow up in the hood.


But I will say this about the Bay. We ain't no dikkriders of illuminati rappers on TV. The streets and this rap sh!t are one and the same in the Bay. Big name rappers who are the most respected outside of the Bay are almost always the least respected within the Bay. Being a studio gangsta is a felony offense punishable by death in the courts that are the streets of the Bay. Baltimore don't have its own rap scene like that so when big name rappers come to town, these inferiority complex having niccas are star-struck.

All of oakland is not a warzone, you right about that. The hills got some rich white folks. But just about everything highly populated in the FLATS is always a few blocks away from the shyt. In the west alone you can't go a few blocks without running into the shyt. Damn near the whole west is nothing but turfs. The east is a lil different because its so much bigger than the north, but its damn near the same shyt.

Not every corner is a dope spot or a turf, but it's fukked up all over the flats. The north has more pockets of suburban life than both the east and the west (percentage wise) due to the fact that it borders emeryville and berkeley in addition to the west.

The town definitely deserves the rep it has, we earned that shyt. No outta town nikkas NEVER took over shyt out here

Overall the town is way calmer than it used to be for a variety of reasons. Some good, some bad. A far cry from how it was back in 04-07 when they was tryna call in the national guard to keep the streets safe
