2 years later, can we admit Watch The Throne was trash?

Had some good songs and alot of crap songs. Should've been way better then it was for the hype and title it had.

i may be going over the top saying it was trash, but the album will not be missed if i never hear any song on there again. when you add in the hype and the backflips cats was doing to defend it as art of the highest order, or how it was documenting what its like to be a rich ninja or black striving. lol. pseudo intellectual or what. beats were horrible for the most part. even the conscious track was condescending and fred hamptons people were not fxin with it.

If I recall right you had not checked for Jay for 10 years, why the fukk are you so eager to discuss his latest album? Why are you so eager to state that you don't want to play it 2 years later? On some not being invited to the party but staying talking about how little you wanted to go for a month.

And Fred Hamptons get thrown in the bushes.
1. He is nothing special, his father was.
2. the fukk they know about rap?
3. He was mad about Jay-z's grammar for saying that his father died when he should've said assassinated.

It was a very good album but some of the reviewers needed to chill with that masterpiece talk.

Lolz so thats ur criteria

The music has to change ur worldview and shyt? :heh:

[...]
Only for maybe ppl like u who are still dumb enough to think ur music has to be teaching u shyt....like the music is supposed to changge my philosophical views and sht lolzz
nikka youse a clown
As long as the music is entertaining and good and its enjoyable then its straight

An artist performing at the elite level, especially people like Kanye and Jay-Z who stand at the capstone of rap music, at that point their music ceases to be "entertainment" and now demands to be "art".

The point is how these 2 nikkas is heralded like Da Vinci of rap music, your work must now needs be an art form. Sort of how paintings give you a deeper perception into the world view and being of the painter.

You want boom bap music bottom feeder rappers like "a fuhh niyaaaa das dat sheit i donnn like!!!!" run along with your philosophy on what music needs be:russ:

One of the greatest albums ever, and certainly in my top-five favorites.

Great album with an even better tour. It was an amazing feeling after the lights dimmed and that bass hit when ham came on. :ohlawd: I still remember it like it was yesterday.
