Yeah back in wartime of old, you had rules you abided by. Even in medieval time, you could put up a certain flag and come over and talk. And you were protected.

Yeah its crazy to think how far we have come scientifically and technologically yet how backwards we seem to have gone in a lot of others way.

A lot of italians actually do ride that mob wave pretty hard. Dikk eating and even ing hard about their "connections". Not so much the kids, but boomer/gen x adults tend to be ingly OD with that made men bullcap. Pull they card though and 99 out of 100 times that attitude melts away real quick. But a large segment really actually do glamorize that shyt though.

edit: as far as the kids go, take 1 guess who they do try to emulate, to their father's utter horror.

I never said anything about how they view themselves, and frankly I don't know because I'm not Italian. I'm talking about how society glosses over the old gangsters of the past. It wasn't black people who started glorifying them first.

You're being disingenuous. You think black rappers just out of the blue started to promote gangsterism and violence because they thought it was cool? You're not even asking yourself what caused the shift. How did we go from black pride to gangsta and hoeism? There was plenty of positive black music that people consumed back in the day. The artistry didn't stop. It's the people pulling the strings that make sure only a certain type of product is put out there.
