the coli where everyone got two bitcoins, 100k in their savings, no debt and makes 120k minimum
That's because this forum has has a ton of people that work in tech. There was a thread a few years ago asking how much people make. It seemed like half the respondents made over 6 figures.

General Tech Workers:
Tech professionals between 30 and 49 years old can see salary ranges from $83,000 to over $100,000 annually.
In 2020, the average tech worker salary in the U.S. was $146,000, according to one report.

Goatganda the pearl of Africa
The funny part is more than 95% of the posters agreeing with the title don't even have $10k liquid yet talking down on $200k. :dead:

It's the internet I notice it on Reddit as well everyone got a high paying job and a investment portfolio over 200k :troll:

Aight... a 750k home on 200k income isn't "living like a king" but I got you lol

Y’all Coli nikkas crazy :dead:

You can get a nice 1 bedroom apartment in the Hudson Yard area which is the most expensive area in Manhattan for under 5K a month

That leaves you with over 6K a month just to spend on utilities, groceries house upkeep going out and savings

How can you not afford to buy a house with that kind of money :heh:

And that’s just if you want to waste money living in the most expensive area in the city for no reason

You can just as easily move to Brooklyn in a decent area and get a nice 2 bedroom apartment for $2500 that will probably come laundry in unit in a pre war building that will be huge

Leaving you with over $8500 after rent :dead:

How is having closing to 10 racks a month after rent not living like a King:unimpressed:

I went to the extreme you missed the whole point of the post

If you choose to live the most expensive area in Manhattan that’s on you but regardless even if you do you can have 6K after rent

But continue to be dense in purpose I guess :unimpressed:
No, you posted about getting an apartment and proceeded to ask, "how can't you afford a house". And no, you do not have 6K after rent.

You're just naturally dense which is something I keep noticing with you.

I don't think living like a king = renting

You really a dumb ass :dead:

nikka I’m showing you how if a person just came to the city if they even chose to live in the most expensive area in manhattan they would still have money to save to for a nice house while being able to basically live like a socialite if they wanted to

But Yeah I guess living in the middle of nowhere with access to nothing but bears and random shyt like that would be better :mjlol:
