Three months in I learned he lied about everything. So had to fire him, the funny thing is he doesn't work for me anymore, but we became good friends. Would hire him again, once his skill set becomes better.

As I said, a background check would verify your employment with said company. You ain't working a 200k for a legitimate business without that type of verification.

Technically no. Whilst the role title had “manager” in it, I attended the meetings and did the work, I didn’t have analysts or direct reports. You’re only speaking on the jobs you know exist.

Our agile scrum master makes like $500an hour and is on fixed hours. He isn’t c level or an exec but he is out earning almost everyone here. He is earning ridiculous money

Nah I'm actually getting something from this thread. As a breh with an undergrad degree in engineering and TWO masters degrees, I'm looking at this thread as motivation for me to get way more than I'm getting. At this point its all in my mouthpiece and who I know anyway.
