I got fired from my first gig when the girl I was with left me. I couldn’t work. My heart was torn, by the time I tried to gi back to work my skills were trash, I had to finesse. I wrote a resume which said I was employed in a high profile role during my “dark days” then I just juggd back to back

All my life. I finessed the govt one time and got my family visas as we were immigrants. I lodged paperwork prior to the deadline and by the time they tried to deportation me I was a semi legal alien. I think it stated then (occasionally). I learnt how to hustle and when amen kept at it

Calling bull...he may have finnessed...but his pay is highly exagerated....it takes nothing to find a hr number these days...and Taleo does NOT fukk around with inconsistencies...especially with jobs that pay that much...OP may have got over....but is likely full of shyt with the compensation aspect...

You got house moms putting down home duties on resumes and shyt. You got secretary’s and front desk people calling themselves “executive office management” and “executive assistant”. You got people who can type a report in word, suddenly writing “trained in ms office”

Resumes are all about fukkery. We have college directors being thrown out for lying about attending Harvard. CEO’s being fired when their past comes back up to bite them. People being told “just add the keywords from the classified ad, into your resume, and they’ll call you in”

When you apply for a job the keywords are what make recruiters pick your resume from the rest. When they see tableau, cognos and sap on my resume they hit me up. IF they talk to me they know I know my shyt. GA, Doubkeclick, attribution. All that. omnichannel, Cust experience and all the fukking touch points of the customer experience let them know it’s real.

I’m Not trynna impress anyone but I done finessed them outta money and came up in the process. Go back on my threads, I been talking about it in bits and pieces.

Other than being fired & not being able to use them as reference for resume?

Well, it depends on the industry. Some industries are very small and are tight so information can be exchanged, but for the most part, you just can't use them as a reference. It's no big deal at the end of the day.
