Problem is, dropping mixtapes where few people hear is stupid because its like dropping it on deaf ears: mixtapes should be the war ups for a classic album, not to release the best shyt.

Imagine if Illmatic was a mixtape, would anyone love it as much? If Paid in Full was just a lost tape, would Hip Hop have lyrical classics? Get you best shyt on albums, not on mixtapes. That will fukk up your legacy.

This would be true if the biggest movements of the past 10 years did not happen on mixtapes. We are living in a brave new world.

Cause everyone wants to do as least as they can to make the most money. fukked up when all you have to do to make money as a rapper is to make cornball hooks and make bytches shake their asses. When that shortcut money is on your mind 24/7, you can't have any fun. Especially in hood crowds that create animosity from out-doing one another, whether in clothes, money, or status.
