Still an outside shot to get in the title game, same situation they were in two years ago when they got in the NC game where they didn't win their own division & were watching the last weekend at home.If they beat Auburn, and MSU beats Ohio St. they still have a chance. Of course that's dependent on how far Alabama falls.damn....if Mizzou didnt lose that game at the end against S. Carolina, they'd be in the national title game right now
Alabama is in a bad spot, b/c the two teamsplaying for the SEC title are #3 and #5. Thus there's no way they can jump either due to a loss in the SEC title game.

With Clemson losing there could be a scenario where the Orange Bowl takes Alabama since they will have first choice selection losing FSU to the title game. That would be based off FSU vs. OSU. If Auburn or Mizzo got in the Sugar would take Bama as a replacement most likely.

it would probably be likely, but could you blame them? if you go with 4 teams this year, sec champ and fsu are guaranteed, likely the big ten champ even if its michigan state. then youve got the big 12 champ who could have two losses, or the pac 12 champ who will have at least two losses competing with alabama. if the last two conference champs both have at least two losses youd almost have to put alabama in.
And even if the 4 team playoff system was implemented this year Bama would be in as well
